Quantitative methods enable complex problems to be structured and modelled – that is, translated into mathematical language – thereby making them amenable to a solution. In business administration in particular, it is becoming increasingly important to work with precision and an analytical approach, and this ability is also increasingly expected of those starting out in their careers. Through the various events in this area of expertise, we will equip you with the ability to apply mathematical and statistical methods and, with the aid of suitable software, find solutions to real-world business problems. Whether in production planning, logistics, finance or empirical economic research – the use of quantitative methods has become an integral part of everyday business life.
