DAAD Language Certificate Examination

The HM Business School offers HMBS students the opportunity to obtain a DAAD language certificate in English for study abrad in the NON-EU Program or for an internships abroad.

If you are interested in taking the exam please contact the HMBS International Relations office by email with the following information and documents attached:

• purpose why the certificate is required
• Proof of written English proficiency:
  
  • Bachelor: a copy of your current academic transcript showing that the English modules required as part of the curriculum (2.2 English for Business and Entrepreneurship OR/AND 3.2 English for Macroeconomics) have been successfully completed.
  • MASTER: evidence of English modules included in the curriculum on your Bachelor’s degree certificate (comparable to ‘English for Business and Entrepreneurship’ OR/AND ‘English for Macroeconomics’). Alternatively, a language certificate (A-level certificates are NOT accepted).
• • DAAD Language Certificate Application (PDF) signed by you
  • Page 1 must be fully completed and signed
    by you; enter your name at the top of pages 2 to 6.
  • Save as a SINGLE PDF file named SURNAME_FirstName_DAAD.pdf and send it to us.

The DAAD language certificate exam takes place online. You will receive the link to the exam once your application has been confirmed.
